Most of my artwork is recent, since I'm a late-blooming artist. After college graduation, I taught high school art for a few years. During that time, friends said that they liked hearing my voice; and, I began to sing with local bands. That lasted a little while longer than teaching, before I settled down into a happy marriage and reared two wonderful sons! I became born again and started singing in churches and also had my own singing telegram biz for over 20 years! It wasn't until my sons left home that I had a place and time to get back into art. So, it has been quite a journey along the way. In some ways, it's like I never stopped painting; in other ways, it's as if I'm learning art all over again and enjoying the spiritual growth as I explore God's beautiful creations. When I observe nature, I see God's fingerprints all over it. When I consider just how detailed and awesome God's creation is, it boggles my mind.
